Low and Zero Carbon Feasibility

Recent changes to the requirements of the Building Regulations (Part L2B 2006) mean that greater consideration must be given to the use of low and zero carbon technologies such as Wind Turbines, Photo-Voltaics, Solar Pre-Heating Panels, Heat Pumps and Combined Heat and Power (CHP).

We can provide our experience to ensure that you consider only the most relevant technologies for your project. Our guidance will enable you to quickly focus upon low and zero carbon technologies which will add value are appropriate in scale to the demand and will provide the maximum financial benefits.

Carbon Trust Energy Surveys

The Carbon Trust is responsible for providing energy efficiency advice in the UK on behalf of the Government. A range of support measures are available to qualifying companies including subsidised consultancy advice and loans for specific improvement projects.

Our consultants are registered to carry out Initial Opportunities Assessments, Management Reviews and Design Advice to enable clients to gain an overview on energy saving opportunities through implementing a structured approach to improving plant, equipment and management procedures.

We are also able to assist clients with applications for funding from the Carbon Trust and can secure subsidised energy efficiency consultancy for your organisation.

Energy Efficiency Accreditation Scheme (EEAS)

The Energy Efficiency Accreditation Scheme (EEAS) is operated by the National Energy Foundation on Behalf of the Carbon Trust.

It provides a strategic framework for reviewing an organisations approach to improving energy efficiency, and an independent third party certified means of demonstrating to stakeholders that appropriate measures are in place to manage carbon emissions.

Our assessors can provide you will all of the guidance needed to make a successful application to the EEAS for accreditation. We will help you to understand the schemes requirements and advise on the most appropriate way to demonstrate that you meet the schemes objectives.
